Irene Brigitte’s musical background is steeped in folk songwriting and early music. She has performed at several festivals – Suoni di Marca, The Great Yonder, Aeson, Abilitante Social Fest, Stazione di Topolò, Nei Suoni dei Luoghi e Nuove Impressioni. Currently she is specializing in Early Music, particularly in the Baroque repertoire, and performs regularly with several groups, such as O Vive Rose Ensemble and the cross-over project Canary Pipe. Irene Brigitte also wrote and sang the soundtracks of the short film The Sleeping Saint, which has been presented at the 69th Festival of Cannes.
